Regular Software Upgrades
The Battery Management System (BMS) requires firmware updates every six months to optimize charging and discharging algorithms and prevent overcharging/over-discharging (as recommended by Tesla Powerpack).
Fault Warning and Recording
Establish maintenance logs to record data such as voltage and temperature during each inspection. Analyze trends to proactively identify potential problems. For example, if the temperature of a single battery cell exceeds the average by 5°C for three consecutive measurements, it warrants close investigation.
Emergency Response Plans
Develop procedures for handling emergencies such as fires and leaks. For example:
Fire: Prioritize cutting off power and use a Class D fire extinguisher (for lithium-ion battery fires).
Leaks: Wear protective gear and treat the electrolyte with a neutralizing agent (the pH value of lithium iron phosphate battery leaks is approximately 6-8, which is relatively mild).
