Car charging stations generally use either 220V or 380V. 220V is AC charging, and 380V is DC charging. Based on their installation location, car charging stations are typically divided into home charging stations and commercial charging stations.
Home charging stations, due to household electricity usage, usually use 220V input voltage and have lower power outputs (e.g., 7kW, 14kW), outputting AC power. Commercial charging stations, mostly public charging stations, typically use 380V DC input voltage. 380V charging stations offer faster charging speeds and higher power outputs (e.g., 30kW, 60kW, 120kW, 240kW, 360kW). Some commercial car charging stations also use 220V, generally supporting charging via QR code or card payment.
